Welcome Back!

Hello, I am Jen Niedzwiadek, and I’m this year’s president of the Stony Lane PTO. On behalf of the PTO board, I’d like to welcome you to or welcome you back to Stony Lane.

Parents play a crucial role in the success of our student enrichment opportunities, and the PTO is a key way that parents can support these activities in our school. What is the PTO? We are Parents, grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, teachers, and friends who work together to organize enrichment opportunities like Cultural Arts/Assemblies, Authors for reading week, kindergarten chic hatching, clubs such as chess club, walking club, and book club. And we raise funds for technologies and resources for the classroom as well as teacher grants and appreciations, ground beautifications, the giving garden, and busses for school trips. We come together as a community for Harvestfest, family picnics, parent nights, fifth-grade farewell and so much more.

If you are looking for a way to get involved, we can help. Any amount of time you have from 2hours  a year to 2 hours a week we need you. Whether you can provide talent; photographers, coordinators, grant writers, flyer makers WE NEED YOU. Or you provide treasures; creative ideas, resourcefulness, can help get sponsors, or are you handly. WE NEED YOU. Or do you have the time to help in any way possible? WE NEED YOU. You are the PTO, you make these programs continue without you we can’t do what we do.
