It’s amazing how many fun events and enriching activities the Stony Lane PTO organizes and provides for our students throughout the year!  See below for the kinds of opportunities the PTO provides in offering activities that are fun for our families, enriching for our students, and community-building for our students, teachers, and parents!

Family Fun Activities

Our goal is to create a community atmosphere by providing opportunities for students, parents, teachers, and staff to get to know each other – because engaged participants make for a better school! These events are NOT fundraisers, but rather a way for the PTO to give back to our Stony Lane community – so please come, enjoy, and have fun with your family!

Enrichment Activities

We coordinate programs and projects that support or enrich the curriculum at Stony Lane, broadening our children’s horizons by exposing them to activities which will enable them to find their own interests and develop fully as people.

Stony Community Activities

Stony Lane Elementary and the Stony Lane PTO have worked hand in hand throughout the years to achieve a school that is focused on community, service, and awareness. We strive to bring students, parents and faculty together in a variety of ways to make our students active and thoughtful citizens. These events teach our children that we care for our teachers, our surroundings, our alumni, and most importantly – each other.

Fundraising Support Activities

Ah, yes – fundraising events – the PTO’s bread and butter! …no, but really, we actually wouldn’t survive without these fundraisers…. Though it sometimes seems like flyers for these fundraising events are taking over your child’s take-home folder, they really are an important part of the PTO’s strategy to make – and keep! – Stony Lane the absolute best place for your child to be growing, living, and learning. Thank you for supporting these events both financially and with your presence – consider it good practice for college (but your kids still want you there)!
